for the Movement Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
and of course this week's fantastic combo at the colourQ:

Cardstock: (white); (other) scraps  Patterned paper: (grey checked) recycled  Dies: (Quatrefoil) Papertrey Ink; (happy sentiment) Naturally Serif, Sizzix; (birthday sentiment) Chip Block, Tim Holtz  Tools: (corner rounder punch) EK success
in the Moxie Fab World, Cath is making us aware of movement. here's what i tried:

do you find yourself reading the sentiment again and again? that's because the background is not distractive and it subtly makes you go round and round: the bright "happy" catches your eye, then you read the sentiment in it’s full. and discretely the green paper will pull your eye to the round corner, leading you to the dark grey diagonal and bringing you back to the sentiment, creating an on-going anticlockwise movement. see what i see?
the checked paper is from a Hero Arts stamp set packaging. i kept another piece of it for my filing system:

  1. I see a seriously interesting card. Some neutrals, some color, cool shapes. I agree with Jackie. Very COOL!

  2. Love your design on this card, cool colours and I love the text.

  3. Hey N@! Thanks for linking this up to the Movement Challenge in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)

Many thanks for stopping by, I'd love to hear from you : )
